Crows are in the Passerines order, the Corvidae family, and the Corvus genus. Crows are believed to be the smartest birds in the world. The captive crow can live for about 30 years and weigh 1 to 1 1/2 pounds.

Ravens are in the Passerines order, the Corvidae family, and the Corvus genus. They can live to be about 21 years and weigh to 3 or 4 pounds, the heaviest Passerine ever. They are omnivores which means they eat insects, berries, seeds, and road kill. As you can see in the picture above the raven is much bigger than the crow.
