Canada geese (not Canadian geese, just Canada geese) can be 3 1/2 feet tall and ganders can weigh up to 14 pounds. Male Canada geese are called ganders, females are gooses (not geese) and geese children are called goslings. They fly in a V formation to save energy. The goose in front faces the most wind resistance and the two in back face the least. Canada geese have a 4-6 foot wingspan.
